what is the change of state from a liquid to a vapour?

Let me try to clear up some confusion.
1. The change of state from liquid to vapor is EVAPORATION.
2. Vapors do NOT have to be above the boiling point. For example, at about 0 C (32 F) you can find water existing as a solid, liquid and gas (vapor). The boiling point is when the equilibrium vapor pressure is equal to the atmospheric pressure. Interestingly, there are some substances that can "boil" before they melt. Red phosphorus is an example of such a substance: its melting point is 590C while its vapor pressure is one atmosphere is 416 C.
3. Vapors are the gaseous form of a substance. Water vapor is a GAS, it is not an aerosol. Clouds are made of liquid or solid water in aerosol form. There is water vapor throughout the lower elevations of the atmosphere.

None. A vapour is a liquid in aerosol form.
If you mean the transition from liquid state to gas state, that's called evaporation.

It is known as boiling, evaporation can occur at any temperature when it is liquid but the point where all molecules in the substance change state is known as boiling

That would be California under Governor Moonbeam
Just kidding... There are generally three states, gas, liquid, and solid. A vapor generally is a gas that above boiling point

The common term is "phase change".
The more proper term is "Phase transition"
