Looking to buy a tablet - should I got for a tablet that runs Windows or Android?

My price range is up to 130 dollars.

I like the HP Stream 7 (Windows, 99 dollars) and the Asus Memo Pad 7 (Android, 130 dollars). They both seem to have pros and cons.

What I want to use this tablet for:

- holding PDF copies of my college textbooks

- battery life that lasts all day

- able to create and save documents

- able to save files

- to play games with

- to browse the internet with

- to attach to a keyboard for note taking

I like how easy to use the Android looks (though I have an iPhone and have never used Android before, nor do I really use my google account). I like the Windows one because I am familiar with windows and I know I can do productive stuff with it, but I hear that particular model has low battery life, and that Windows doesn't really have many apps.

What should I go for?

Update:

also it would be nice if the tablet could download and use programs (I guess apps are the same thing)

and run flash player

all tablets have limitations especially when it comes to creating documents. remember you have no mouse control or keyboard. as to storing full college textbooks, the stream offers better storage options with its internal solidstate memory and cloud based virtual drive. Android devices typically have limited internal storage and its simplistic operating system does not allow for sophisticated file management. the battery time is the main plus a tablet has over a full feature laptop. tablets don't offer optical drives and for the stream that limits its Windows program compatibility. All programs and apps have to be downloaded by the internet connection. I think that what you really want is a laptop, why are you not selecting that? the reason for that might help you sort out your tablet choice. A laptop might get you through the day if you plug in and recharge during your lunch break time.
