For the parabola y^2 = 4px , Find the extremities of the double ordinate .

    "The" double ordinate? There are an infinite number of double ordinates. Do you mean the latus rectum?

    y² = 4px

    vertex (0, 0)

    focus (p, 0)

    y = ±√(4px) = ±2√(px)

    y^2 = 4px

    y = +/- 2 sqrt(px)
