How do you change your yahoo answers name?

Go to your profile on Y!A (usually done by clicking on your current name towards the top on the left side). Then click on Edit Preferences and at the top on the next screen should be your current name next to Profile and an Edit button. Click the Edit button, and you can enter a new nickname for your Y!A account.

Note that these steps are based on the computer version and will most likely not apply to the mobile version of the site.

Edit: Weird, I thought this question was about changing the name on Y!A, not the whole Yahoo! collection of sites.

Sign in to your Yahoo Profile. https://profile.yahoo.com/

Click your name. then the X to delete existing name

Type in your new name

Click away from the shaded area around the new name to save the changes.
