Broken ankle need to cut toe nail?

I want to know if you can cut your toe nails after 3 weeks of a fracture ankle that had surgery? I have a orthopedic boot but can't put weight on it until 9 more weeks but can I cut my toe nails now after 3 weeks of breaking my ankle or I need to wait more ?

    It's just your toe nail, you won't feel it. So cut it
