There's a thing called the charts, and it shows the top music at the moment. Michael Jackson had 5 of his songs as number 1 on the charts :)

It means five of the tracks were released as singles and they all made number one in the charts.

Five songs that were on that album reached number one in the charts (probably when released as singles). One of those songs that became no. 1 was "The Way You MAke Me Feel.
