I thought my dog thought of me as god but I asked my husband and he said no because she has no concept of god.

I think that most dogs see their owners as 'the centre of their world'. Provided they are being kept well!! God? As stated, I don't think dogs have any concept of a deity. She/he who shall be obeyed (if a quiet life is preferred!), hopefully for sure but beyond that - no.

God doesn't exist, s you lose out there as well. You are looked at as the pack leader.
