solving a maths equation: 2020 = 1600(1+i)^7.5 ^7.5 is to power of?

ive managed to break it down so far too:

0.0135 = log(1+i).

i know i should be 0.0316 but struggling to get to that answer.

Update:

2020 = 1600(1+i)^7.5 is equation

    2020 = 1600(1 + i)¹⁵ʹ²

    so, (1 + i)¹⁵ʹ² = 2020/1600 => 101/80

    Squaring gives:

    (1 + i)¹⁵ = (101/80)²

    To the power 1/15 gives:

    1 + i = (101/80)²ʹ¹⁵

    => 1 + i = 1.031567185

    so, i = 0.031567185

    Would that make i = 3.16%..??

    Note: Logs are used when the unknown is in the power.

    2020 = 1600(1+i)^7.5

    1.2625=(1+i)^7.5 Take the 7.5 root of 1.2625

    1.0316=1+i; i=0.0316 or 3.16%
