Strange rash. Home remedies?please read?

I've had a rash for over 7 weeks I've been seen by my doctors 4 time and by an allergist I have an appointment with a dermatologist in middle February.(fully booked). The rash isn't a normal one it's all over my legs and up my back and it looks like a bunch of zits like they arnt localized and swollen in a group like a normal rash...the ONLY thing that has made them go away and not itch are steroids...and I can't be on those constantly until my appointment...cortazone 10 and prescribed creams didn't work and neither did Benadryl...so my question is do you have any home remedies that could possibly work?
