Should I "man up" and tell the establishments that I don't qualify for the senior discount?

I eat out all the time. I'm 55 years old and without asking some places give me a senior discount without asking for it. If asked I do not lie. I often don't realize it until I look at the receipt. I feeling guilty. I've always looked older than I am. I never took advantage such as buying beer underage.

Update:

Thanks for the responses. As for taking better care of myself I'm in the best shape I've been in for years. My gray hair (what I have left) and if I don't shave make me look older.

55 is the standard age for senior discounts in most places. Depressing isn't it? 55 seems too young for the word "senior."

I'm also 55, and my long white beard makes me look older. I've also gotten seniors discounts sometimes. So far, I have always said something - I don't want people thinking that I'm that old! One answerer is correct - discounts start in some stores at 55. None in my town, but in the nearest city, one store does - the sex shop!

I would make a scene and be like "How old do you think I am?". Then try to get the meal for free.

If you are an atheist, then yes, you should man up.
