Saliva build up?

Early in the mornings when I wake up I have an excess amount of saliva that's keeps comig and coming along with mucus. I can't quit spitting it out and it makes me choke, gag and eventually vomit it out because there is so much. I've tried so many antacids thinking that it would help, I've seen 3 doctors for it and all the meds they have prescribed don't work, their "treatments" don't work. I there anyone else that can relate to what I'm dealing with? And if so what's re next step because I'm getting really sick of this.

Hypersalivation has numerous causes. Scroll down to the bottom of the article in the link.

and a list of rarer causes here:

But perhaps you have post-nasal drip from an uncleared infection which simply keeps restarting the problem for you? Try putting 1tsp of +10 Manuka Honey in a cup of coffee in the morning. You will know in 2 or 3 days if it helped.
