In Woodrow Wilson perspective, why did the U.S enter WW1?

    Wilson was an idealist - he believed that if Germany,ruled by an autocratic Kaiser,won the war this would be bad for everyone everywhere.

    The best way to stop this happening was to join the war on the side of the Allies,help them win,and thus help "make the world safe for democracy"
