Keystone XL Supporters: How do you feel about a Foreign Oil Company taking land from Nebraska Farmers and Ranchers?
Lincoln, NE - On the same day a Montana community is trucking in clean drinking water after a pipeline leak spilled tens of thousands of gallons of oil into their water supply, Canadian oil company TransCanada has served Nebraska families with eminent domain papers to take their land and put Nebraska’s water supply at risk of even worse tar sands spills with the construction of its Keystone XL tar sands pipeline.

the real problem is NOT with an oil pipeline , there are millions of miles of them in America. with ACCIDENTS EVERY YEAR! It is the fact that TARSAND oil is worst of all possible ways of getting oil. Bad for the ecology, bad for Global warming ( 2014) was the warmest year on RECORD! and BAD for Canada an USA economy. the ONLY winners are China and the Oil companies.
If we want to build a pipe line lest make a huge one to move needed dress water from the Canadian lakes to the south west. WIN -WIN for everybody

Where was your outrage when federal judge Sonia Sotomayor cited eminent domain to order people out of the homes so a strip mall could be built?
PS. I know several ranchers that will be getting such papers and the compensation terms.

Yes Candida is a foreign company and they were given full power to take the land. Further more the so called job program is using Asia to make the inferior pipe that keeps busting. Americans make seamless pipe India who got the pipe contract makes seamed pipe. Here in AZ the republicans just gave. (not sell) gave Australia a mine.

Sort of the same way I felt when they told us we couldn't develop our land due to a old wetlands law on the books from 1973

Apparently they have no problem with it, as long as it contributes to environmental degredation and global warming.

Happy as long as Rush says they should be.

hate to break the truth to you pal, but just because a company has "Canada" in its name does NOT make it a "foreign company"!
