How do you sell cheese, eggs, and steak in Sims 3?
Whenever my Sim goes to the store to sell fruits and vegetables, the eggs, cheese, and steak stay in her inventory. I know these can be used as fertilizer, but I don't need 100 plus steaks for future fertilizer. I also see I can click and drag to sell one at the time, but it takes so long. Any help?

My answer is for the PC version.
You can sell the eggs, cheese, and steaks through your inventory without having to do it one by one. The food icon in your inventory will have tiny "gridmarks" in the upper left hand corner of the icon, if you have more than one of the item. Carefully click-and-drag that gridmarked triangle to your selling box and it will sell ALL of that item at once.
The store only takes fish, fruits, and vegetables. So you will have to sell through your Sim's personal inventory, unless you have Ambitions (which gives you the Consignment Store) or Supernatural (which gives you the Elixir Consignment Store that will even buy your gems and metals). It's worth noting that both consignment stores will usually pay you MORE than the item is actually worth. The Ambitions store is open 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., but the Supernatural store never closes and will sell many more types of items than Ambitions.
