How do I register a vehicle in FL, that doesn't run?

I live in lee county fl and the vehicle to about of state vehicle thst I purchsed from a friend 1.5 years ago. I haven't transferee the title to my name yet and planned to do so, but it no longer runs. I believe that bc It is an out of state vehicle, the vin and odometer need to be inspected. How do I go about registering a vehicle that doesn't run in the state of fl?

    'Register' just means 'buy license plates for'. You need first to get a title for the car and then, if you wish, register it. The process is nicely spelled out on the Florida DMV website.

    You need to get it running first. Don't they have emissions testing in FL?

    You pay a tow truck to tow it to the DMV or wherever it needs to go.
