Question about setting a subwoofer amp in my car?

The amp has a crossover switch with FULL and LOW PASS as the options. There is also a LPF dial. My question is if I set the the switch to FULL mode, do I need to adjust the LPF dial at all? Or is the LPF dial only used when in LOW PASS mode?

    LPF dial would have no effect if the x/o setting is on full.
