LG Dishwasher, wise buy?

We are used to washing dishes by hand, got a new house and rebuilding a kitchen i thought of getting a dishwasher, saw one at a bargain, LG Direct Drive Inverter Dishwasher, i have no experience of using one, nor have idea of using it, but since i bought it at a bargain i thought of installing it anyway and maybe.. it will make life of washing dishes easier, any pro and cons of using a dishwasher, never had one.

Cons of having a dishwasher- some of them don't work well. Its well worth it to buy an online subscription to Consumer Reports magazine and do your research. The only other con I can think of is they take up cabinet space and they are not pleasant to stand in front of to chop vegetables or stir together ingredients.

Pros- no more dishwashing, no more wet dishes sitting on the counter in a strainer, washes grease off very well, makes a convenient place to put dirty dishes as long as you promptly unload the clean dishes, most are very water and energy efficient,

We have had ours for several years now with zero issues. Super quiet, washes great, but it doesn't do a great job drying and while it holds a ton of dishes the door is super low meaning getting the dishes out of the bottom tray is like picking them up off the floor.

LG have never appeared on top of any consumer report, review or other industry publication for ANY of their products. LG used to be GoldStar, and those of us who have been around long enough to remember that brand know that it was utter s***. Nothing has changed.

LG is inexpensive for a reason. If you don't have to pay for repairs, then go for it.
