I'm terribly sorry for your loss. Nobody knows for a fact what awaits us after death, so I cannot help you there. I know that this is a terrible time for you. It is normal and healthy to feel how you do. Everyone deals with death differently, so I can not give you advice that will 100% work for you. Here is some advice to avoid depression after the death of a loved one: 1. Talk with your friends, a counselor, a therapist, your family, anybody. 2. Keep yourself busy; maybe find a hobby that will occupy your thoughts. 3. Cry. Crying is perfectly healthy and it's not good to keep your emotions bottled up. 4. If you don't already, keep a journal. You can update your journal on how you are doing, how you are feeling, and even write memories of your father so that you will always have them. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss. I hope this could help. Just remember that you have people around you who love you very much.
