I think my brother stole from me?

Well actually i know my brother stole from me but i cant exactly prove it. Hes such a bad liar. He stole roughly 50 bucks. Also i didnt know about this but my parents told me he went in my room "looked through my wallet" and then walked into the kitchen and told everyone i have money in my wallet. Like WTF who does that??? But we looked everywhere amd cant find the missing money so we cant prove it. I have 6 siblings and when we asked them about it they all said thats what happened except ryan my other brother who is best friends with the one who i think stole the money (tyler). But that makes me think they may have done it together rather than just the one. But i know at the very least tyler stole some money from me. And hes not even gonna get in trouble because my mom thinks hes the golden child. So is there anything i can do or am i just out of 50 bucks.

$50 lesson. Don't leave your things where others can get to them.

I'm a father to five girls. The biggest problem they had was touching each other's wardrobes. Taking sweaters and such without permission. It happens. But I also fostered two boys, a teen and a pre-teen. There were issues with privacy and with keeping one's things safe from others going through their stuff. So I brought home some wooden boxes that would fit under the beds. Put lids on them and combination locks. That was the end of "He's reading my diary!" or "She's going through my stuff!" You'll have to figure a way to keep your stuff safe. Get a filing cabinet and lock it. Put your things in there and keep the key with you at all times. And keep a hidden key so when you lose your key you have a backup. Beyond that - lesson learned. Hopefully.

    Hope this helps.

Ive had a problem with brothers stealing in the past. Most of the time theres lack of evidence so you cannot usually place any blame. You could try talking to your brother or tyler and see if they would tell you anything but if they did steal it, I doubt they would incriminate themselves. Looks like you are out $50. Try hiding your money next time. Under the mattress, in a sock in your drawer, idk get creative! Good luck and sorry for your loss of money.
