How to shrink a pair of jeans?

I have 2 pairs of jeans that I never washed for about a year now... I noticed they have a smell to them and that they fit slightly bigger than when i first got them.

I really really don't want to lose the color of the jeans. How can I shrink them down or return to regular size without losing the color?

Would putting dry jeans in the dryer do anything?

What are you 5 years old? Try washing them on hot water and then drying them on high.. The longer you dry them the more they will shrink
