is a political science degree worthless?
So I've been pursuing a BA in Political Science (I'm a sophomore now), and I've almost completed all the requirements to get a BA but all of a sudden I feel like a degree in Political Science is dumb..
I really liked politics so it seemed sufficient but... now I know that you don't need a degree in polisci to have a career in politics Im considering switching majors to Marketing or Economics.
Is polisci really worthless
5 AnswersPolitics6 years agoMy roommate keeps me up at night?
My college roommate likes to keep me up at night by obnoxiously laughing at snl reruns at 12am-3am in the ******* morning. And it's a loud laughing, so even with my beats head phones in I can hear him.
I barely get enough sleep, and I'm tired in the day. It's pissing me off and I know it sounds dumb to be upset over laughter but when I'm busy all day and have to get up at 8am a little piece and quiet would be nice.
Would tell me RA fix it, I'm tired. It's 1am now!

2 AnswersDiet & Fitness6 years agoI'm depressed right now, I need help or someone to talk to. If I wasn't such a coward I'd commit suicide. How do I get help?
I'm in college, stressed, feeling lonely, ugly, and unsuccessful. I feel horrid about myself and every day of gets worst. I don't even want to go to class or study... I just want to lay in my bed.

7 AnswersEtiquette6 years agoHow to shrink a pair of jeans?
I have 2 pairs of jeans that I never washed for about a year now... I noticed they have a smell to them and that they fit slightly bigger than when i first got them.
I really really don't want to lose the color of the jeans. How can I shrink them down or return to regular size without losing the color?
Would putting dry jeans in the dryer do anything?
3 AnswersFashion & Accessories6 years agoWhat happens if you don't get a bid?
So I decided to rush a fraternity this semester, and I'm curious how I would know if i didn't get a bid?
It would suck to show up on bid day and not get accepted anywhere...

4 AnswersFashion & Accessories6 years agoWill this be a dry event?
I was invited to a fraternity "event" that calls for casual attire at 10pm...
I can't ask anyone in the fraternity if it will be dry because it'll make me look bad (i want to rush them and don't quite know them).
But I'm really hoping for alcohol! If I don't get alcohol or something to drink... I'll have a nightmarish time.
3 AnswersBeer, Wine & Spirits6 years agoIs dieting a relatively new ideal?
I remember being taught that food wasn't as readily available as it is now (in a grocery store), and only the rich were "fat" because they can afford it... So the majority was poor and was skinny?
If this is true, then when did dieting begin taking mass effect
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness6 years agoShould I take the risk and learn chinese/mandarin?
I need to learn a language in college, I did one class of spanish, but I wasn't feeling it. I was thinking about going the french route, but then I found out my university has a language program for chinese/mandarin this summer.
I'm not confident in my abilities to learn a new language, especially one such as this. It'll probably hurt my gap as well... but in the end I could be better for it...
idk...
3 AnswersLanguages6 years agoWhy did my school reduce my salliemae loan?
I did a salliemae loan for 5,000$ this semester and I got approved (by salliemae), but my school edited down to 1,900. I was trying to get all of it to help with the cost of the LSAT, books, and extra spending... what else can I do? Working will be hard as my schedule is all over the place.
1 AnswerPrimary & Secondary Education6 years agoDoes she not like me or something?
I like in a college dorm, and people on my hallway normally say hi to all the new students/transfers (I'm new here). Tonight this girl however went from one room to another and slammed the door in my face without even acknowledging me and avoided eye contact.
Everyone has been dividing in cliques lately... so does this mean we are no long on a friendly basis? its really confusing. I like it better when everyone was nice to everyone.

2 AnswersBooks & Authors6 years agoWhen dating, does the major/degree of your potential partner matter to you?
I tend to not date artistic majors.
Music majors, poetry majors, music theory... etc etc. Unreasonable? maybe.

1 AnswerVideo & Online Games6 years agoIs this a good proposition for my parents to get me a car?
So I want to get a car by August 2015.
My parents aren't going to buy my a car out-right (and thats understandable), but I was thinking that if I was able to buy the car myself... is it reasonable to ask them to pay the insurance cost?
I don't think I'll be able to pay every month.
Does this sound good?
