Of course, they can see your prior violation. That's why you had to get a visa instead of using ESTA. But you were issued a visa, so you should be okay.

should be allowed to enter the US for a vacation, but I am not sure what they can tell me at the airport. I dont want expensive dissapointment. Thank you very much for your experience.

yes they can see ...but you have a visa ... you should be OK
