for those who said they'd stand up against all sexism?
How do you plan on protesting Valentine's day?
Will you boycott it, write an angry letter, organize picket lines in front of outlet/department stores, organize a rally, or something else?

I didn't say I'd stand up against all sexism, but I do boycott Valentine's Day. Not because it's necessarily sexist, but because it's silly. For many it's become a test of love-- to see if "he" comes up with a gift good enough to prove his love. It's insane.

Valentine's Day is essentially a commercial holiday. If someone wants to 'boycott' it, their only option is to... well.... NOT buy any Valentine's Day gifts.

Option # 1. Buy her something to shut her up for the remainder of Valentines day.
Option # 2. Don't buy her anything then she start acting catty and distance towards me for the next few days and complaining to her girl friends behind my back that I didn't get her anything.
