What do i need at the airport?

Im flying from Ohio to Florida in a little over 2 weeks and my passport is expired...i heard that i dont need a passport and can travel with just my drivers licence but i wanna make sure....ive never flown to anywhere in the US i only fly to Europe and you obviously need a passport for that. How does it work for domestic flights? Do i need a passport or can i fly with just my license?

A license is all you need for domestic travel. You just need a government-issued photo ID. A passport works, but is not necessary. A driver's license or state ID card is fine for domestic travel.

To fly domestically, a driver's license is fine as ID. Here's the list of acceptable ID's:

A passport is not required if flying domestically. Your drivers license is enough,

Just legal ID (drivers license) is all you need.
