Am I the only guy who hates college parties?
I don't hate partiers, they can do whatever they please. I just don't want to be pressured into it because I'm in school to study, get good grades, and graduate only. I work to pay myself to get through school. I have to take it seriously and I won't party at all through my years in college. Am I the only guy like this?

No, there are plenty of students like you. Instead of being drunk every weekend, they watch movies or play video games with friends, go to clubs or coffee shops for music or readings, go to various campus activities, or just get together to talk over a pizza. You'll figure out quickly who the serious students are and which ones are likely to flunk out by the end of freshman year.

All work and no play makes Jack a dulll boy. So what! If you find that you need to concentrate on your academics, this just means you are a conciencoius student. Only party when you are ahead in your work, and you will be a success. I admire your work ethic. Good luck, and may your life be full of love, laughter and music.
