why do black lives matter?

Why does anyone's life matter? It matters to the ones that love you. Other than that, you're just a grain of sand on the beach and even the most famous will be forgotten with time.

The difference between "blac on blac" & others is, they aren't killed simply bc they are a minority & justice is mostly done. Blac lives matter because all lives matter & for many years blac people have been treated unequally as if they do not matter. Despite the Bill of Rights, and the other amendments, blac people will always be thought less of than almost any other race bc they started out as nothing. They were just slaves, no name, no language, barely enough clothes on their bac, fucced up shoes on their feet, NOTHING. They just want to put it out there that they're not "nothing", they have come too far to fit into society to just be killed off by LAW ENFORCEMENT, who from the beginning is supposed to protect them, & of course everyone else. It's BLM TOO NOT ONLY BLM

All lives matter and people deserve to be respected.

All lives matter equally. The fact that people of one race are more likely to kill or be killed doesn't change that principle.
