Calling all poets?

I need help writing a quick poem about two contrasting nouns (Our example was flowers and weeds) If anyone has any examples, or could write a quick one for me, that would be great!! :)

    In basketball it's you who bounce the ball

    Football is a game in which you get bounced

    Dribbling to "buy a bucket" in a mall

    Or having your athletic strength's fire doused

    In basketball "he's on fire!" is the call

    In football it's "looks like he's going out."

    Day and night

    Death and life

    Dreams and waking

    Good and evil

    God and Lucifer

    Water and fire

    Earth and the heavens/sky

    Those are the ones I could think of of the top of my head. Good luck :)

    Yes a poem of a contrast...

    Fire and ice isn't very nice,

    Water and air contrast, right?
