I have a question about injecting growth hormone? I'm 16 and a female.?
So basically in 5 foot 1 and I feel like that's extremely short. I don't think I'm going to grow anymore, atleast that's what the doctor said. So I'm just wondering that since I apparently stopped growing, if injecting growth hormone would still me me grow? I only want to be about 3 inches taller. I know that most kids who need it get injected as children, because they are still growing. I would just like to know. Also how much would I have to inject to grow 3 inches?

Well, for one, I'd have to agree with John and say that being the height you are is just fine. I'm just the same as you, although about an inch taller. But if you still want to go through with it, I'd say DEFINITELY talk to a doctor about it. Do NOT just take hormones on your own, as they are what regulate so much of your bodily functions and can seriously mess something up if they are used incorrectly.

You'd need to discuss that with a doctor, probably an endocrinologist. Your height is considered within the normal range, so you might have trouble finding a doctor willing to provide the hormones.

Why? Be happy with who you are. But yes it would maybe not 3 inches taller depending on ow strong it is but jus a warning I've heard they can be dangerous
