Gaming question please help out?
Alright, so I have a laptop with core i7-4510U @ 2ghz processor (2.5ghz actual number), Nvidia GeForce 840M (1.6GB), 10GB Ram
And I'm trying to figure out if I can run this brand new game which is supposed to come out in 11 days (already preordered).
The minimum requirements for it are:
Intel core-2 Duo 3Ghz Or AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400, +3.2Ghz.
4GB Memory
Nvidia GTX GeForce 260 512 MB, Or ATI Radeon HD 5670, 512MB.
Would I at least be able to run the game just at medium settings? I'm not a hardcore gamer, I don't care about graphics that much...but I do care about frame rate. I was anticipating it for so long and I would be disappointed if I am unable to run it in moderately decent graphics.

You should be able to run the game at pretty good settings actually, it's only your processor that's slowing you down (2-2.5GHz vs 3.2GHz recommended). However, since your graphics card is pretty good (especially for a laptop), you'll be able to run the game really quite well, since GPUs are arguably the most important component for high FPS gaming. Try reducing particles in the game to make the game more processor friendly.
tl;dr
FPS will be good, may need to adjust non-FPS settings.
