trying to eat healthier, but...?
I have a pretty busy life so I eat out a few times a week, I have been trying to make better choices when I eat at home however. Due to me always running, I find myself eating a lot of tv dinners, so I started checking the nutrition facts and i was shocked! The sodium and fat is through the roof! Ok so I've found a few brands (healthy choice, lean cuisine) that have some that aren't quite as bad in those areas. I also buy the marie callender ones (which aren't as good for you) but I noticed something: whenever I have a healthy choice or lean cuisine dinner, I never feel satisfied. I find myself looking for something else to eat after I eat these. I imagine that whatever I find to "supplement" those makes the meal overall worse than had I eaten a marie callender or a hungry man (which have more food and leave me feeling more satisfied).
It seems like anytime a tv dinner is low in fat, the sodium is through the roof! and vice versa. What's a person to do?
I'm not fat (5'7" 160lbs) just trying to eat better. Also I eat A LOT

You are right, the tastier food is always unhealthy, you have couple of options: 1)Substitute your hunger with another pleasures like smoking, alcohol and sex
2)Try to do sports, e.g. weightlifting - after that you do not want to eat for a long time and makes healthy food look much more attractive, seriously, try it. After couple of hours of bench press - I do not want to eat burger, I want salad

Yes unfortunately you're correct there.
Those dinners are marketed as a healthy alternative, yet they are so full of gunk that we really shouldn't eat them. I eat those meals too and even though I think they're significantly better than fast food, they're nowhere near as good as quality fresh foods that we would cook ourselves.
