In their PURIST forms, is communism or capitalism better? Why?

In its PURIST form, communism is better. It ensures that everyone is treated equally. However, as Arthur C Clarke wrote, it has been shown, at the cost of millions of lives, that it only actually works for robots and social insects. It doesn't work for real human beings. Therefore we are stuck with capitalism, which can be more or less regulated by government as the people choose.

Neither one. Communism can never exist because of human nature. Pure capitalism. for the same reason, will always oppress people and keep most of them poor.

There is no debate between purist forms-

- capitalism serves power elites-- communism is a HUMAN RIGHT. CLASS WAR

Freedom always wins

That depends on if you choose servitude or liberty. I assume it doesn't get any better than communism for those that desire servitude to the State. And true capitalism offers the numerous opportunities desired by the free to make their own choices.

Alternatively those that love servitude and desire dependency on the State aren't going to like capitalism. And those that love the freedoms of choice aren't going to like the mediocrity of servitude.

Capitalism. It has freed more people, created more opportunities than anything know to mankind so far.

Communism is better for the lazy but sucks for those who want more from life. Capitalism is better for the industrious, but the lazy find it torturous.

Since there are no more true communist countries. I'd say capitalism is far better.

Which one, when tried has always failed to benefit the poor? Capitalism is the better system.

Pure forms always suck, because ideologies never describe reality.
