Would it be a bad idea to bring our toddler along for our anniversary date night?

My husband and I got married 1yr ago from today. My husband and I came together, for the love of my toddler.

We both know it's not tradition and are concerned that having our toddler for dinner and a movie, may later on hurt our relationship, down the road, unintentionally--even on this one-time-occasion...

What do you think?

I don't think bringing the child is the end of the world, but it's not the best idea either. Having alone time to connect as a couple is very important. Make sure you 2 are getting some adult time, if not today, then sometime soon.

    Yes. Its a date.

the point of any kind of date is to have alone time with the one you love.

If my wife opted to bring one of our three kids with us when we were out, it'd be a HUGE freakin' deal breaker and the night would not be fun

Bringing your child most likely is not the best idea. Children get tired and restless, so dragging then around may get the best of them, making them fuss or cry. It would probably be best to spend some alone time together! :)

you have plenty of family time. Please go out and enjoy your anniversary without the toddler.
