    Gnostic Theist

There is no such thing as a "gnostic theist/atheist", the term "gnostic" does NOT mean the opposite of agnostic. A "gnostic" is a person that follows the religion called "gnosticism" and is a theist. You can only be 3 things in this vein, theist, a person that believes in deities, atheist, a person that does not, or agnostic, a person that refuses to state either way.

Depends how you define knowledge. I don't identify as gnostic or agnostic because I find the terms ambiguous. My position is that gods almost certainly do not exist.

These types of "google/dictionary" definitions, combining 2 or or definitions together, are 100% USELESS. These types of multi word definitions, whether they refer to atheism or theism, are used not by educated academics, but by AMATEUR LAYMEN who don't comprehend current academic thinking on the subject matter. These lay people do their "google" searches and then think they're experts. Too funny indeed.

If I could prove the existence of God, then a belief would be unnecessary.

But the question that drives us to think about God is about meaning of life and purpose of life. Meaning and purpose cannot be real unless there is a Creator. Belief is about seeking what we think will make our life worth living and things that have no purpose also have no worth.

Yes, you see it, but it isn't real. Our human estimate of worth lies in self praise or the praise of others. People give praise to get praise. The world is a market place of people giving and receiving praise. The purpose of life is then to get praise and feel good. But in an atheistic worldview, feeling good is just chemicals in the brain put there by mindless evolution, ie. a drug fix.

I think it's irrational to consider gods as possible. There is no empirical or logical support for agnosticism.

I will address my attention towards christian theology. The bible states very clearly that a man is saved by faith through his works.

So faith is required.. If you KNOW that God is real and have found proof of it. You no longer have faith-(belief WITHOUT evidence)

So those who KNOW God is real, are no longer saved

gnostic atheist - I am part of that which is, as are you. Singularity, that is still expanding, is sentient, and we are its parts. Consciousness creates matter. Matter does not create conscioiusness.

False, and unsupported by any major dictioinary.

Theism entered Western Civilization with NO qualifications, it means and meant "intellectual conviction of God's existence. Belief is always, always secondary.

“Newman is forever stressing […] the one idea that belief is something other than the result of a logical process; it is precisely not ‘a conclusion from premises’. ‘For directly you have a conviction that you ought to believe, reason has done its part, and what is wanted for faith is, not proof, but WILL.’”
