Why does my rabbit bite me? :(?
I got him from a rescue centre and he is roughly 6 months old. Every time I have him on my lap he bites through my clothes and it hurts a lot! Does anybody know why he is doing this? Or how to get him to stop :( thanks!

First of all, when you brig a new rabbt home you are supposed to leave them completely alone (except for feeding and watering) for the first week.
After that you can open their cage and let them come to you. NEVER pick up a rabbit to let it out of its cage. If you have to do that, get a different cage.
Rabbits are prey animals. He's bitting you CUZ he feels threatened. Let him come to you. When he nips, yelp in "pain" and then ignore him for several minutes. The more he bites, the longer you ignore him.
Never hit your rabbit. This will teach him to be afraid. Never scruff him either.
Next time, don't rush things

Here's a few answers:
Maybe you're messing with him too much.
He's adjusting to his new home.
He doesn't wanna be touched.
He's stressed.
He's in heat.
Leave him alone for a while to let him adjust.
