I got him from a rescue centre and he is roughly 6 months old. Every time I have him on my lap he bites through my clothes and it hurts a lot! Does anybody know why he is doing this? Or how to get him to stop :( thanks!

Could he of poked his eye on the straw/hay or is he allergic to something? As the vets are quite expensive I want to make that the last resort, is their anything I could do to help him?

He has a lot of milky discharge also, his brothers eyes are absolutely fine though.

Hiya, I will be fostering a dutch rabbit, I currently have 2 guinea pigs of my own and was wondering if the rabbit would be able to go out in the run with them? Would the rabbit hurt them? thanks!

I've always loved the name Bear, what do you think of the name? Do you think a child would get bullied for the name? If I have a baby boy i'd love to call him that but not if he would be teased at school and stuff for it. I think the name is so amazing and unique :) I don't want him to have a boring, common name. Hiya, I am thinking of getting a springer spaniel.. ideally about a 6month old. We used to have a cavalier king charles spaniel but sadly passed away about a years ago. I have a daughter who is 23, she has special needs so stays at home with us and is home a lot so is able to walk it and keep it company. My son is 18 and he works night shifts so is normally home during the day and he said that he would happily walk it. My other daughter is 15, she has wanted to get a Springer spaniel for ages and has proved to me that she is responsible, she runs for about an hour and a half after school so could bring the dog with her. I work everyday but Monday and Saturday. I know that these dogs are very active, we have a 17 year old cat also, do you think they would get along? Any information about this breed would be very helpful! thank you :)

Please help me lool I rescued a guinea pig from a rescue who was very underweight and ill.. and he would just sit in the corner so depressed. So I got him a friend, a baby guinea pig from a rescue and he has perked up so much and so happy now. But the thing is he is SOOOO vocal. Every time i come up the stairs he whistles.. and he is in my room lol when I come in he runs straight to me and whistles. When I am in my room on my computer and just move a little bit he whistles! He is such a cute old boy but is there anyway of stopping him from whistling so much? I give him lots of fresh hay and veg but that only stops him from whistling for a while. He is in a MASSIVE indoor cage. What do you think is causing this obsessive whistling? Maybe that's why his other owner gave him up? But of course I will never ever give up this sweet boy.. he will be with me forever <3

Hi, I think my baby guinea pig has mites :( I got him from a rescue and now I think it might of affected the other one as well. So I bought this spray - Xeno 200, 50ml spray. Does anyone know how long it takes to be effective? and how many sprays for a baby guinea pig and for an adult one? thanks

I introduced a male baby to my adult male guinea pig, first the adult rumbled a bit and then they both ate some food and then the adult started to hump the baby and wiggle his bottom a bit and then they were eating side by side. Are they getting along alright so far?

I have a guinea pig which was abandoned and so I took him in and he is quite underweight so just fattening him up a bit haha and since I have 2 of my own I was thinking of maybe adding him to the group. I have bought a large hutch so its big enough for 3 guinea pigs.Is it best to have little meets ups through the course of the week? Or just put them in a neutral area for the whole day and then put them in their new hutch? My two bonded pair have great personality's and I know which one is the dominant one. My new guinea pig is quite shy and I think he will definitely be submissive. So what is the best way to introduce them? thanks x

I have another guinea pig which I am thinking of adding to my two, they are lovely guinea pigs and have great personality's and think they might accept him in to the group. If it doesn't work out could it affect the bonded pairs relationship? thanks x

Hello, I have a rescue guinea pig who desperately needed a home so I have taken him in. I currently have two guinea pigs and I was thinking about introducing him to them and see if they get a long. I tried yesterday with them in a neutral environment but Dexter (my current guinea pig) started to hump my rescue guinea pig and he was squeaking so I took him out because I thought he was hurting him. Why was he doing this? Also if I was to try again would it be best to introduce them separately or all 3 of them together? Thanks!

hi, suddenly for some reason it is not letting me accept friend requests, comment, like, update my status or message people on facebook. Why is it doing this? I have restarted my computer and logged out and back in again but it hasn't fixed it. Any ideas on how to fix it?

hi, I already have 2 guinea pigs and there is one guinea pig at my local animal shelter than wasn't very well so I took him home and took care of him until he was better. I have kinda of falling in love with him, is there the slightest chance of him ever being able to be friends with my other 2 guinea pigs? Or is it just impossible? If not then I guess it would be best for me to rehome him so he can bond with another single guinea pig. thanks

When I add 5ml of HCl acid to 25m of NaOH and graduall increase the acid, until get to 45ml. What do you think will happen to the temperature. I have to take the temperature of the solution every time I add the amount of acid. Conclusions everyone?
