Cat has dried blood on her ear, it s as hard as plastic. How do I clean that off? I can t put her ear underwater?

Update:

She had a boo boo on her ear and while we were sleeping she must have itched it off. There was blood in her fur, her food dish, the walls, the floors. It was extremely fun to clean at 4am. But she is OK. I just can't get it off her ear.

Get a piece of gauze or a baby wipe and gently rub the area. It should remove it, make the gauze/baby wipe a little wetter and hold it over the wound to soften it up. Don't use a paper towel as it can leave fragments in the wound.

You can use hydrogen peroxide to remove the dried blood. A gauze or soft wash cloth works best.
