If you're religous how can you have rational thoughts about reality when you already believe in a false reality?

Religion doesn't contradict science. I have rational thoughts all the time and I'm religious. I don't have blind faith. I know religions can't all be perfect (people aren't), but that doesn't mean there's nothing spiritual. The Bible is symbolic; it has an inner meaning. If you understand that you see that it's not irrational. Evolution exists; the days of creation in the Bible correspond to phases of our own spiritual development. Science and nature actually reflect spiritual things. The sun corresponds to God; it's warmth being love and it's light being truth. Somehow, how nature works reflects spiritual things; it's not just a coincidence. Everything was created from God (Who's essence is wisdom and love) so it reflects that. Believing everything is simply as shallow as nature is like believing colors exist without light. Or believing trees grow without the sun, because you can't touch the sun so you don't believe in it. So it's limiting to only believe in low level things you experience physically. You think on a low level that doesn't cover all reality. I got some of this from books by Emanuel Swedenborg who had extremely complex detailed visions of the other world/s. What he says works out throughout. He was a scientist.

It's actually less rational to think that consciousness somehow happened from non-living objects. Something living had to always exist (God). Keep in mind that it wouldn't make any sense to expect PHYSICAL proof of SPIRITUAL things. But there are other kinds of evidence that are just as real. You're closed minded if you think only the most shallow way of thinking has to decide everything. You should know there's more to the mind than that. Spiritual evidence can't be physically shown to someone who is too closed minded to experience it; but it's still evidence to the one person. If it could be shown physically, people wouldn't have to open their minds and become deeper people; it would take away freedom too. I heard an angel say my name before and the other person in the room heard it as well so I'm not crazy. Many other things (obvious signs of me being led) give me reason to believe.

You're not really asking a question. You're just telling us what you think.

Obviously they would believe their reality to be true, but you're asking them to answer in light of the fact that it's a false reality. So your premise is absurd and meaningless

And you spelled "religious" wrong. But I'm sure you accuse other people of not being smart.

So whats true reality?. We're just tailless apes not angels or Gods- we invent our own reality's, religious people and none religious alike. The defining characteristic of all humanity is subjectivity-not objectivity.

That's like asking how people who masturbate can have rational thoughts about real sex.

EDIT: And I don't care what you asked for.
