What does it mean for a BJT to load a bias network?

To load down a network means, usually, to pull more current than the circuit can supply and thereby pull down the available voltage to less than spec.

For instance if the VCC is spec'd as 5v +- 5% then pulling the VCC down to less than 4.75V(-5%) would be loaded down.

A bias network is used to insert a DC component into an AC signal. So maybe just using the BJT to create a DC component from AC and add it to the bias network. Just a wild guess
