Can i get an STD?
I want to start off by say that I am a virgin and that the girl I'm dating right now is also a virgin. She had given me head (oral sex) though. she has never been with anybody else. She has had a boyfriend before but the farthest they went was just make out. we have been dating a year now and around Novemeber my penis started to dry,flaky,red, cracked skin. What i am thinking is that its because i masturbated dry and ever since that started to happen. Is it possible that this is an STD? I have not seen a doctor yet because i keep thinking it will get better considering that it has. It is not flaky skin anymore and its not as red as before. It use to burn slightly after masturbation now it does not. Its just dry and cracked now. Anybody know what this could be?

Well first thats good shes a virgin. But only way u can get an std is from sex and it dont matter what type. But if u are really nervous and wanna be safe get an std check and see for yourself. It sounds like u just been rough on your man parts but I suggest getting checked if your nervous or anything like that.

It doesnt necessarily has to be genital herpes. Also remember that sometimes you can have herpes outbreaks and dont even realize it. So if you do have genital herpes you could have been infected 3 years ago and you probably werent aware of it. And the condoms dont protect 100% from genital herpes because the area with the blisters may remain uncovered. It is very difficult to tell if you have herpes unless you go to a gynecologist or have a blood test done. Try to read on the internet, and maybe you can get something through >>>(HerpesFishes(dot)℃om)<<<, about the disease take a look at some of the pics but remember that most of them are rare and extreme cases. There are a lot of treatments for genital herpes, you can still have babies so dont worry unless you are sure. Let us know, go to the doctor and dont have unprotected sex.

Virgins can carry infections like oral herpes (what causes cold sores), hepatitis and HIV which can be passed by sharing needles or having unprotected oral sex or anal sex. Some people still call them selves a virgin even after having unprotected oral or anal sex which can spread stds. Virgins can also get yeast infections because they can be passed with out having sex. People can also lie about being a virgin to get sex.
If she for sure hasn't had any thing to do with sex before and doesn't have any infections that could be passed on when you have sex, then you're not going to get any thing from her.
What you have may be a fungal infection or a bacterial infection but you should get it checked out by a doctor.

It could be the masturbation or even the soap you are using. Make sure you use a ph-balanced, soap-free wash to clean your private areas, and always lube for masturbation.
