I live in the eastern United States, so the eclipse was below the horizon from start to finish.
I hope that helps. Good luck!
EDIT: Well, technically, the Sun rose HERE while OTHER parts of the world were still experiencing a partial eclipse, but because of the angles, I didn't get to see any portion of the Sun's face covered. That's okay...I have less than 2.5 years until a total solar eclipse sweeps across the continental United States. I'll catch that one.

Start of the eclipse was cloudy and I thought I'd be in for another disappointing astronomical event that everyone else sees and I have to watch on telly but the clouds moved away and the Sun came out and I got to see most of the eclipse which was awesome.

It was a bit of a damp squib! Like a lot of the UK, we had thick cloud so couldn't see a thing. However, the temperature outside did drop slightly, and it looked like the light was starting to fade, but then minutes later it started to brighten up.

Basically the moon just passed in front of the sun and obscured about 95 - 98% of it during the process.

Couldn't see a thing. It was all cloudy. I thought it was going to go dark but no, it was exactly the same as a normal Friday morning.
