4.0 Jeep grand cherokee, oil pressure bad, how do I test the electrical feed to the regulator?

Update:

I know the pressure regulator is good(changed it twice), I put a new HV oil pump in it, expecting to get some oil pressure, but no....I think its gotta be the signal going to the oil pressure regulator. How do I test that?

Update 2:

When I rebuilt the engine, I used WD-40 to clean around some of the plugs, shorted out my crankshaft pos. sensor, where does the wires going to the oil pressure regulator go to?

The sensor is known to be a problem. I've been through 3 in 2 years and have researched forums and found this is common.
