What should I expect from Goliath at Six Flags Great America?
Is it that scary with the inversions? And I know I'm a coaster enthusiast, but what is it like to ride it? I'm going this summer and I'm scared of going upside down, but I told people I would ride it and I'm keeping my promise (:

Goliath is at my home park which I am sure you are aware is SFGAm. I have ridden it 6 times this far, once in the front row and three times in the last row. It's an amazing ride.. My least favorite part is the length. However, with the short duration, it surely packs a punch. First off, where you sit does change the experience. If you want a more aggressive ride, sit last row. If you want the views and anticipation, ride first row. It's aggresie no matter what, but the further you sit from the front the more intense it gets. The drop is steep, it feels like you're going straight down even though you aren't. The tunnel may have fog which is pretty cool. The overbank is rapid and steep. The ejector airtime feels amazing, like being thrown out on your seat. The dive loop is fun, it has hang time for maybe around 5 seconds. And then the inversion everybody talks about, the zero g stall. It is fun, but for me it doesn't live up to its hype. You feel weightless for a good 5 secs. Go on it!!!
