Trying to get my run time down?

Ok so I need to get my run time down to about 15;54. The track I was using for my running turns out it's not a 1/4 mile per lap so it didn't help all that much. So the next best bet was a treadmill, now when I go and run on a treadmill should I go for distance or time? I'm thinking distance to help with the endurance. Also what would I be abler use to substitute the treadmill? Elliptical?

  • Why is running on the track not helping? If you know its distance then just use some math to work out how many lap for 5km and do that. The running is the same

    I'm assuming the 15:54 is a 5k time correct?
