The Smithsonian museums will have interesting things to see for a boy that age. The Nationals are playing the Mets at home on the 6th, 8th and 9th if he's interested in baseball. Mount Vernon can be good. The Cherry Blossom Festival will be running through the 12th. It includes events like a kite festival and fireworks plus there will be a big parade on the 11th. Unfortunately, you miss International Pillow Fight Day on the 4th when there will be pillow fights on the Mall. If the weather is good, take him to the National Zoo
