Do u HAVE to give ur phone to a teacher when they ask for it?

If the rule is that you cannot have your phone out, then yes, a teacher can take it. In many schools, they make the parents come down to pick it up. Why would you be confused about this? You can't all just do whatever you want, you know. There are rules.

Of course you do. Why do you feel that you don't? Why do you feel that it's okay to have your phone out during class time? If you can't go a whole class period without your phone, then you have a bigger problem.

If your phone is not suposed to be out that put it away. Why is out during class in the first place? Class time is for learnig not socializing. So yes you have to gicve you phone to the teacher. They have planned a lesson that they need to get done.

a normal consequence to having your phone out is that it gets taken away.

if you fight that, you get a worse punishment for disobeying the first punishment.

They can't really have it out or the can just take it. My school is like "OHHH!!! PUT YOUR PHONE IN THE BIN OR YOU'RE GOING TO THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE. So just don't keep your phone out.
