Why don;t airplanes have camera on them?

Today, buses, trains they all have camera on top. Why can't planes have them? If the black box can record data and even audio, why not install video also?

Update:

i mean why not record video also?

Pilots don't want a camera in the cockpit - because I presume, they sometimes engage in nooky with a stewardess. I think the French crash will see the introduction of cameras. Plus I think extra strong black box cases will be introduced. On the French plane (which was totally destroyed) one black box - flight recorder - was damaged to the extent that no data could be extracted. The other - voice recorder - was almost destroyed but the critical data chip was still usable.

Lastly I think that real time data downloading (via a satellite) is likely to be introduced in the near future - probably within a year or two.

Cameras in the cockpit has been proposed many times but it has been opposed by the pilots union as being an invasion of privacy and something that wouldn't add much if any useful information. Here's a 10 year old article on the subject.

What specific data do you believe such a system would capture that other existing systems don't ?

This is a 'solution' in search of an actual problem...
