Why do Jehovah's Witnesses rape and kill each other? I thought they are supposed to be more moral than the rest of us.?

Is the strain becoming too much? The fact that it's now past the 100 year mark since 1914? Are they starting to crack? Are they starting to buckle under the pressure from child abuse news or coming to terms with the knowledge that they've been lied to and deceived? What's happening here? What's causing this? I certainly would expect this type of behavior, knowing the incredible damage this religion does to a person, but two in a week? That's something even I didn't expect.

As far as being more moral, they have good Biblical standards, but that doesn't change the fact that they're just disgusting sinners like the rest of the world. Being a Jehovah's Witness doesn't make you more righteous in any shape or form...that's delusional.

Oh Poopsy they moved your question to mental health. Not a very sunshiny thing to do. There are rapists in every sect but the 2 witness rule that the WBS promotes by misapplying scripture makes it easier for witnesses to go undetected. I know this for a fact because I was raised by a witness child rapist
