what are some vegetables i can try that i can digest? PLEASE HELP?
So i have been having numerous digestive problems for over a year now and i finally have an appointment with a specialist this month. I currently am lactose intolerant and the pills no longer work. I also have GERD and im on PPI's. The doctors are currently also looking into me having either crohns or ibs because of all my symptoms and because my mother has crohns. i keep a food diary and i have a really hard time digesting pretty much any vegetables and i get terrible abdominal pains and the food comes out just as it went in only chewed up some. Or i get bad acid reflux. i can pretty much only eat these vegetables of which i have tried: baby corn, beets, mushrooms, green beans, asparagus, cucumbers WITHOUT the skin, celery but only cut up small in soup and snow peas. I am unsure about squashes. i cannot eat olives, pickles, brocoli, cauliflower, onions, cabbage, lettuce, spinach or any leafy green, cant eat carrots, tomatoes, no garlic, or peppers or any acidic or spicy vegetables because of my gerd, no corn besides what i had mentioned. no creamed vegetable because my lactose intolerance and no potato skins. i pretty much cant eat any salads and i have a lot of the same problems with fruits so i really don't know what to do.
i also forgot to mention foods with seeds are usually a no no as well.
