I'm using hair color remover. i always use to much on one spot. tips on how to use little as possible?

My hair is kind of long and a little thick. i only bought one box of hair color remover. is there anyway to put it evenly on my hair. I've tryed brushing it though that doesn't help much

    I would apply it the same way you would apply hair dye. Section your hair off horizontally. Clip up the top sections and start at the bottom. Put some of the color remover in your hand (wear gloves if it suggests you do so) and then apply to small sections of hair at a time. Once one layer is done, undo your clips or what have you and bring down the next layer. Repeat this process until your entire head is done.
