Is it OK for women to get an abortion because the fetus to genetically susceptible to being gay?

A fetus cannot be more susceptible to being gay... And even if a woman wanted to abort it for that reason (no matter what political party), how is that any worse/better than any other reason out there? Some people want to abort because the baby will have autism or down syndrome, if we allow that then aborting because or sexuality shouldn't be banned either. Pretty much all reasons to abort are selfish anyways (except in case of rape), why try to list which reasons are okay or not?

"genetically susceptible to being gay" WHAT? That would be like saying that a fetus is genetically susceptible to being fat. The only thing that would make a child more likely than normal to becoming gay would be the environment it was brought up in. But that choice is ultimately the child's. Some children of alcoholics become alcoholics as well, and some wouldn't touch the stuff if you paid them. Being exposed to a particular lifestyle influences people to some degree, granted some more so than others, but at the end of the day it's by choice!

From a moral point of view? No, because that is an innocent life and the fetus could not choose whether to be gay or not. So, it is not fair to punish the fetus by aborting it for something that it had no control over. Furthermore, there's actually nothing wrong with being gay; but some people just have difficulty accepting it.

From a legal point of view? Depends on where you live and if abortion is legal over there. You can look up on google if abortion is legal where you live.

Remember, just because something is legal, does not always mean it is ethical.

I would hope no one could abort a baby for this reason alone . I myself do not believe in abortion, but that is my choice my right and like me this is her choice and her choice alone . What if, when this baby comes into this world and she the (mother) still feels the same about this now born child and tortures the baby or child all because of the baby being susceptible to being gay .Then what? She wanted to abort this fetus, but she was not allowed . Remember I am not condoning what she wants. I am not in her shoes . We only know what we ourselves can deal with .

I think it would be hypocricy to accept a woman has the right to abortion when she doesn't want a baby but she doesn't have the right to abortion when she doesn't want a specific type of baby! Result is: The woman has the right to abort no matter the cause. It's as simple as that. "I don't want a baby at this point in my life, I can't take that!" is not such a different cause from "I don't want a life with a gay son/daughter, I can't take that!" Both are life choices.

Most conservatives believe that being gay is more of a lifestyle that you develop than something you are born with, but still, abortion is still wrong because most Conservatives don't have a problem with gay people, only with gay marriage
